How the Family Owner designation is made
The person who Adds a Family is automatically assigned the Family Owner designation. This can be adjusted in the Family Profile, see Manage Families.
What is the function of the Family Owner
The Family Owner is the person intended to maintain the Premium Subscription for a family or families. If the Family Owner has a Premium Subscription, all other Parents and Caregivers will inherit Premium access as well. If a Parent or Caregiver in a family's account has Premium access but is not assigned as the Family Owner, it will not be shared with other Parents and Caregivers in the family.
